Offensive Equipment

Tractor Beam:

- Developped: Tress Corp.
- Advanced gravitonic technology made the tractor beam available. This
piece of device links your ship to the target object, effectively
making a “solid” graviton bridge. This line can be walked upon if
this is needed, else it just negates any fleeing attempts any of the
ships will try to make. This ensures that if one ship is in velocity,
the other ship will gain velocity the same direction.
- Any ships connected with 1 other ship can only fly 50% speed, and will
drag the other ship along. (if the other ship tries to fly the other
direction, calculate engine speed with engine speed)

Warp Inhibitor Beam:

- Developped: Hann Corp.
- Flips the emergency switch at each warping ship within range, effectively
making the warp computer pull the ship out from warp. This wont work if the
engine is broken, or the computer is told to override this warning. The
basic function of this unit is to look like a big gravity well within too
short a distance to a warping unit.

Tracking Computer:

- Developped: Various Artists.
- Helps tracking a target ship for better aim, very low versions add
a “Target” box, so if the ship will fly the same speed without changing
direction you need to shoot in the box to hit the ship.
More advanced versions pinpoints the weak spots of the ship, to give the
pilot an idea to where to deal the most damage.

Course anticipation device

- Works by anticipating the bullet speed, with the length and speed of
the target ship. So if the ship is flying the same direction without
changing pace, you need to hit an on-screen “targeting box”.
This helps a great deal with anticipating the enemies moves for a gunner
who would then have more time to click the trigger button.
- This require you to have the target within range og the sensors.
- Each computer can only handle a select number of targets, so they only
give a bonus tohit versus a preselect target.
- If the person operating the sensors is trying to target paint a target
that is currently targetpainted by this device, he gets a +2 computer use
as if this computer assisted him doing so.
- The sensor guy decides which targets the computer is tracking (move action)
- Gives only half the bonus (rounded down) at extreme range.

Class 1:
Sensor Anticipation bonus: +1, Targets: 1, Price: 34000
Class 2:
Sensor Anticipation bonus: +1, Targets: 2, Price: 44000
Class 3:
Sensor Anticipation bonus: +2, Targets: 2, Price: 74000
Class 4:
Sensor Anticipation bonus: +3, Targets: 2, Price: 108000
Class 5:
Sensor Anticipation bonus: +4, Targets: 3, Price: 148000

Target scanning device

- This device designates the weakspots on a ship, and tells you where
to aim for. It tells about the weakest holes in the armor, and the best
places to hit the target.
- Does not work on sensor: Extreme range.

Class 1:
Works by matching the target with a known ship list, it will choose the
ship looking the most like the target ship.
If a wrong ship is chosen, it will inquire a -1 penalty tohit instead of
a bonus.
Sensor Scanning bonus: +2, Targets: 1, Price: 9000

Class 2:
Works by matching the target with a known ship list, it will choose the
ship looking the most like the target ship.
If a wrong ship is chosen, this computer will show up with a warning, and
the bonus is void.
Sensor Scanning bonus: +2, Targets: 2, Price: 20000

Class 3:
This scanner also uses a list, but if the ship is not on the list, it will
use custom made scanning algorithms, finding the new weak spots on the
unidentified ship.
Sensor Scanning bonus: +2, Targets: 2, - For ships found on the list
Sensor Scanning bonus: +1, Targets: 2, Price: 65000

Class 4:
This Scanner uses custom made scanning algorithms, finding the weak spots
in the armor layer for target practice.
Sensor Scanning bonus: +3, Targets: 2, Price: 121000

Class 5:
This Scanner uses custom made scanning algorithms, finding the weak spots
in the armor layer for target practice. This shield also finds the weak
spots in the shields, effectively tracing the best line of fire.
Sensor Scanning bonus: +4, Targets: 3, Price: 182000

Tracking Computer Equipment:

- These items can be fitted onto tracking equipment for increased effectivity.

Additional CPU:
An additional CPU so the computer can track an additional target.
Can be added both to Scanning Computers, and Tracking Computers.
Adds +1 Target to the modified Tracking Computer.
; Price: 10000
Advanced Algorhitms:
Advanced algorhitms and improved CPU power increases the precision
of the modified tracking computer, applying a better chance for the
gunner to hit the target.
Can be added both to Scanning Computers, and Tracking Computers.
Adds a +1 Tohit against the target of target computers (stacking with
sensors)
; Price: 40000
Lethal Precision:
These sensors shows just the point to hit to ignore shields and armor,
this is the most advanced addition to any tracking computer, and it has
on several occasions been discussed whether or not this device upgrade
should be legal.
Can be added only to Scanning Computers.
Giving a +1 to threat range, effectively giving a 19-20 Threat range.
; Price: 231500-30500*CL
Slow Calculator
This "upgrade" was made for much more cost proficiency, since targeting
computers are slow. These methods is quite unlike the standard coputer,
and needs to be ordered when the computer is bought, and cannot be an
upgrade to an existing computer, neither can it be upgraded to a standard
computer since the way they work is quite different.
This method the sensor operator use time creating parameters to work on,
as for the calculated ship, it will scan it, work out the numbers then
come up with a solution as to how to track that ship. These parameters
must be created anew for each ship encountered.
; DC: 15 (fail slows it ½ round, for a maximum of 4 full rounds)
- Takes 2 full rounds to get this computer tracking a target.
; Price: 60% of normal computer

== Slow Calculator Own Processor ==
This device creates the parameters itself, so the sensor guy just have
to pick a target, then 2 rounds after the computer starts tracking it
properly enough to give assistance to gunners.
; Price: 80% of normal computer

Barbeque:

Tastes good.
; Price: 500
