Items come in five different rarities/power levels:

Weapon Damage is added to the damage rolls of Light and Heavy attacks.

Armor Penetration X ignores -X Armor Rating.

Range X/Y shows how far a bow can shoot without penalties (X) and how far it can shoot with penalties (Y). Anything beyond Y is out of reach.

Reach X shows that the weapon can be used to attack at a greater distance than melee (which is 5 ft.).

Armor

Armor comes in three variaties: Light, Medium and Heavy. And then there is Shields.

Light 0 0
Medium 2 3 Reduce movement speed by 5 ft.
Heavy 4 6 Reduce movement speed by 5 ft.
Shield 0 0 +2 to Guard

Bulk is subtracted from Guard.

Armor Rating is subtracted from incoming damage.
