Caláaen is a fiercly devoted member of Raeya's shadow. Within this organisation he's part of a group of skilled artisans and engineers who plans and organises raids on buildings suspected to house heretics. He has been tasked with traveling to the coastal cities and ensure that peace and quite is maintained at all cost. Raeya's light must be kept clean.
He is more the schemer and the planner than the doer, more the commander than the soldier, and he has a certain arrogance due to his position in the guild planning and giving others orders.
