Green-Flame Blade

You send green flames dancing across your weapon as you strike a nearby enemy. The impact bathes nearby enemies in green embers.

As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a melee attack with a weapon against one creature within range of the component weapon. On a hit, the target suffers normal damage from the attack and you may deal 2d4 fire damage to either the target of the attack or a secondary target within 5 feet of it, or divide it between both (they each take 1d4 fire damage.)

At higher levels the spell deals increased damage.
At 5th level the spell deals an additional 2d4 fire damage (For a total of 4d4). You may deal this damage as you choose between four targets in incremements of 1d4.
At 11th level the spell deals an additional 2d4 fire damage (For a total of 6d4), and can hit up to six targets.
At 17th level the spell deals an additional 2d4 fire damage (For a total of 8d4), and can hit up to eight targets.
