Magic Items

Link to front page.

As the chapter about equipment states, items come in different rarities. An item has a number of slots for modifications (“sockets”) based on their rarity/power level:

  • Common has 2 sockets
  • Uncommon has 4 sockets
  • Rare has 6 sockets
  • Epic has 8 sockets
  • Mythic has 10 sockets

An appropriate MOD can be inserted into a socket. These can take up one or more sockets. The process to insert these is free, as is the process of removing them again, but it takes 1 hour per socket that MOD uses. If a MOD takes up more than one socket, it will specify this detail in its description.
The bonus a MOD provides stack with another bonus of the same type.

MODs

MODs come in different many different types and grant bonuses derived from that type.
