Talents

Link to front page.

For each Talent point you spend in a specific category/tree, you gain 1 Affinity for that Talent Tree. Some talents require 1 or more Affinity to obtain.

Light Armor Talents

Spell Warding Tier 1
Prerequisites: -
Benefit: While you wear light armor, you gain a +2 bonus to your Spell Resistance.

Evocation Tier 1
Prerequisites: Light Armor Affinity 2
Benefit: While you wear light armor, reduce the Mana cost of spells you cast by 1.

Recovery Tier 1
Prerequisites: -
Benefit: While you wear light armor, you regain 1 more Mana each hour.

Concentration Tier 1
Prerequisites: -
Benefit: While you wear light armor, your gain a +1 bonus to hit with spells.

Prodigy Tier 1
Prerequisites: Light Armor Affinity 1
Benefit: While you wear light armor, your gain a +2 bonus to damage with spells.

Spell Warding Tier 2
Prerequisites: Light Armor Affinity 3
Benefit: While you wear light armor, you gain a +4 bonus to your Spell Resistance.

Benefit: While you wear light armor, reduce the Mana cost of spells you cast by 2.

Benefit: While you wear light armor, you regain 3 more Mana each hour.

Benefit: While you wear light armor, your gain a +2 bonus to hit with spells.

Prerequisites: Light Armor Affinity 4
Benefit: While you wear light armor, your gain a +4 bonus to damage with spells.

Medium Armor Talents

Dexterity Tier 1
Prerequisites: -
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, you gain a +1 bonus to Fighting rolls for one-handed or dual wielding attacks.

Athlete Tier 1
Prerequisites: Medium Armor Affinity 1
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, you regain 1 additional Stamina every hour.

Stealthy Tier 1
Prerequisites: -
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, you gain a +2 bonus to Stealth rolls.

Precise Tier 1
Prerequisites: Medium armor Affinity 1
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, your gain a +3 bonus to damage rolls with One-handed and Dual Wielding attacks.

Agile Tier 1
Prerequisites: Light Armor Affinity 2
Benefit: While you wear light armor, reduce the Stamina cost of your maneuvers by 1.

Dexterity Tier 2
Prerequisites: Medium Armor Affinity 3
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, you gain a +2 bonus to Fighting rolls for one-handed or dual wielding attacks.

Athlete Tier 2
Prerequisites: Medium Armor Affinity 4
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, you regain 2 additional Stamina every hour.

Stealthy Tier 2
Prerequisites: Medium Armor Affinity 2
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, you gain a +4 bonus to Stealth rolls.

Precise Tier 2
Prerequisites: Medium armor Affinity 5
Benefit: While you wear medium armor, your gain a +6 bonus to damage rolls with One-handed and Dual Wielding attacks.

Agile Tier 2
Prerequisites: Light Armor Affinity 5
Benefit: While you wear light armor, reduce the Stamina cost of your maneuvers by 2.

Combat Talents

Axe Basics
Prerequisites: -
Benefit: When you wield an Axe, it gains hurl and you gain the Punish the Defiant stance.
Punish the Defiant (stance): Opponents who haven't moved since your last turn, gains a [penalty] to their defense against your axe attacks.

Axe Mastery
Prerequisites: Axe Basics
Benefit: When you wield a one-handed axe it gains bleed and when you wield a two-handed axe it gains defense +2. You also gain the Sundering Chop trick.
Sundering Chop (axe trick):Your attacks can apply 1 point of damage to one piece of gear worn by the target.

Axe Supremacy
Prerequisites: Axe Basics, Axe Mastery
Benefit: When you wield an axe, it gains spread. It also deals an extra 2 damage to its primary target (and thus 1 extra damage to its secondary target).

Sword Basics
Prerequisites: -
Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you may Anticipate an opponent that you've hit with a sword attack this round. You suffer a -4 penalty to the Awareness Empathy check. You also gain the Martial Spirit stance.
Martial Spirit (stance): You gain +2 defense against a single target that you've engaged in combat. You may choose a new target at the beginning of your turn.

Sword Mastery
Prerequisites: Sword Basics
Benefit: When you wield a one-handed sword it gains reach and when you wield a two-handed sword it gains +4 vs disarm. You also gain the Falling Lightning trick.
Falling Lightning (sword trick): You may use your Notice Skill instead of your Sword Skill to make this attack. If you hit, you may make a free Trip attempt against the target, again using your Notice Skill instead of your Sword Skill.

Sword Supremacy
Prerequisites: Sword Basics, Sword Mastery
Benefit: When you hit a target with a sword attack or trick, it gains a free Degree of Success. You also gain the Think Ahead trick:
Think Ahead (sword trick): You may substitute your Fighting Sword attack with an Awareness Notice check. If you miss, you end up flat-footed for one round. If you hit, you gain Damage Reduction equal to your Awareness Rank until the end of your next turn.
