Skills

Her er et forslag til en reduceret liste over skills. Jeg har taget hvad jeg kunne finde af (relevante) skills fra 3.5
og komprimeret dem til en mindre liste. Kommenter hvis du syntes der er noget der skal ændres.

New Skills Old skills
Acrobatics Balance, Escape Artist, Tumble
Athletics Climb, Jump, Swim
Animal Handling Handle Animal, Ride
Bluff Bluff, Disguise
Craft As before, encompasing a lot of different skills
Commerce Appraise, encompasing the skills to trade and barter. Might be connected to knowledge instead
First Aid Heal, but i think first aid better describes the skills purpose
Influence Diplomacy, Gather information
Intimidate As before, might go under influence instead
Knowledge As before, might be called [INSERT NAME] Lore instead
Perception Listen, spot, search
Perform As before, or might even be a background/origin related check instead
Profession As before, unless we decide that is part of the background/origin instead
Scribing Forgery, Decipher Script
Sense motive As before, or might change to insight, and be a broader skill instead
Spellcraft As before
Stealth Hide, Move silently
SurvivalAs before
ThieveryOpen locks, Sleight of hand (steal), Disable device. Could be split into technical knowledge and the like.
Could be called subterfuge instead
Use Magic DeviceAs before, if we decide to keep it at all
Use RopeAs before, if we decide to keep it like this


That leaves us with 21 skills instead of 49.

Trained or not

Der var snak om hvorvidt vi skulle bruge 4th editions trained system, eller 3.5's skill point system.
Det ville ikke gøre mig noget hvis vi fandt en mellemvej, hvis det kan lade sig gøre.

Jeg forslår at man for eksempel får nogle små bonuser fra forskellige ting, såsom race, baggrund og class.

Lad os sige en elver nu fik +2 til Perception og +1 til Spellcraft, og en person med baggrunden “Streetrat” fik +2 intimidate og +1 Acrobatics, og en fighter fik +2 Athletics og +1 Handle animal. Så ville en “Elven Streetrat Fighter” have +2 til Perception, Intimidate of Athletics, og +1 til Spellcraft, Acrobatics og Handle Animal udover hvad den fik fra stats. Man kan sagtens indføre et max. cap på +3 til en skill, eller ligge det i selve designet af alle elementerne. Bare så tingene ikke blev for nemme at stacke på en dum måde.
